I've summarized below the best investing advice I’ve read and heard so far, and the one’s that I’m taking action on, hope you enjoy it and it would help and fit in your investing strategy.

1. You must have a control over your emotions.

2. Start investment account and sock money away for retirement.

3. Invest on what you know and keep your eyes open.

4. Rebalance your portfolio on a regular basis.

5. Have an exit strategy.

6. If you can learn quickly from your own mistakes, you’re ahead of the game. If you can learn quickly from others mistakes you won the game.

7. Beware of debt.

8. Never forget that stocks represent ownership of the business, not a price that wiggles on the screen.

9. Read the book “ The Intelligent Investor”

10. If you invest in fundamentally sound companies, recognize even those that suffer through inevitable cycles. So take advantage and buy on the sell offs.

11. Take advantage of the power of dollar cost averaging. It’s not a get rich quick scheme; it’s a get rich slow plan.

12. There is always time to invest, so always due your due diligence.

13. Don’t dwell on the past. Learn from it, but always focus on the present and the future.

14. Invest for a reason and keep that reason on mind. You must know your why.

15. Make it automatic.
